Community Events

We are thrilled to be teaming up with Japan’s leading breast cancer foundation, Run For The Cure Walk For Life (RFTC) again this year, for our annual Family and Friends Fun Run. All funds raised will go directly to the charity. Last year, we raised just shy of ¥300,000 yen for this very important cause. The TFC matched our contributions making TIS’s donation ¥600,000! Join us on a day trip to the renowned Kawagoe Shrine Flea Market, as we journey together aboard a TIS bus during school hours. This market stands as one of Tokyo’s largest, boasting over 100 stalls brimming with an array of items, including antiques, pottery, kimonos, and obis. The flea market is a monthly spectacle, typically held on the 28th of each month. Please see the website below for more details.
