Cherry Blossom at Meguro River
Please join our WhatsApp group for the exact locationWe hope you’ve been enjoying this gorgeous spring weather for the past few days! All this warm weather has changed the cherry blossom predictions. It now looks like our Explorers date of March 22 will be about as PERFECT as it gets for cherry blossom viewing! They are now due to start opening around March 15, with full bloom around March 24. Meguro River offers some of the best views of cherry blossoms in Tokyo. Cherry trees lined along the river cast their reflection in the water, which is absolutely divine! Let’s not forget about all the fun “Yatai” street food stalls serving everything from strawberries and champagne, to castella cake and yakitori.

Token & Wristband Pre-Sale Ends!
OnlineToday is the last day to pre-order the tokens and wristbands. Please make sure to submit your Pre-Order form and drop off your payment at the TFC Dropbox behind the library. As a family member at TIS, you have the opportunity to pre-purchase the tokens and wristbands, which are the “currency” of the Fair, so you can head straight to food booths, games, and arts and crafts on the day while the general public will have to queue to purchase them at the door. Raffle Ticket Sale Ends!
OnlineToday is the last day to submit your filled out stubs and payment to the TFC Dropbox. If you do not submit your stubs and payment, you will not be eligible to win any prizes. The raffle is one of the biggest fundraisers of the Cherry Blossom Fair (CBF) and we need your help to sell the tickets! This year we are fortunate to have many fantastic raffle prizes – thanks to the generous donations from TIS families, local / global businesses and companies. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales support our 3 charitable causes: Playground of Hope, Just Peoples and TIS Grants. If you would like to request more raffle tickets, please click HERE.
